I have been gluing the attic roof windows together and painting them and I was very afraid how they will sit on the roof because the roof didn't go in place as planned and I was right to fear, there's huge gaps in between the roof and the window walls.
PRO TIP: You HAVE TO paint the window walls and everything from the inside before you glue it in place because there's just no way I can see anyones hands bend in a way to be able to paint or do anything to them after they're there.
I then decided to wet the entire thing in a cup of water to make it softer and then I applied glue on the window frame upper parts and then I was watching the roof still not bending until my eyes caught one of them hair tying rubber bands on the floor and I was like OH MY GOD YES! And I slid it there under the window sill and above the roof and I swear this is better than using tape or anything else, you just have to be sure that you have let the glue dry on the window frame properly so that it can hold the rubber band. Sweet. The roofs turned out great now that they are dry :) I was just painting them a moment ago, will put pictures of that later on.
